Pickleball for Beginners, as Bob says, is a ‘must-read for anyone who wants to learn how to play pickleball.’ The book is filled with links to videos of drills and instruction geared for beginners. For me, the section about comparing lessons with clinics was an eye-opener. Would you rather pay $20 for a ¼ of an hour-long lesson or $55 for a private lesson (100% of an hour)? I took a clinic with three other people, and now in retrospect, I think it was a mistake. I wish I had read the book prior to taking the clinic.
